In olden times, the Minoans founded a mysterious and prosperous state named Minoa in Agelta Drylands.

Prince Minotaur of Minoa was the most esteemed warrior back then. Passionate about fighting and often fueled by his rage, Minotaur would demonstrate terrifying bursts of strength in battle. Few were those who could even hope to last more than a few rounds against him.
The people grew to worship Minotaur, yet his father was deeply concerned about him. While reaping great success on the battlefield, Minotaur's savagery and impulsive behavior was unbecoming of the successor of the state.
To forge Minotaur into a suitable heir to the throne, the old king arranged for a special trial-one in which the prince must defeat a mysterious figure from foreign lands to qualify for the throne of Minoa.
Minotaur accepted this unarmed duel without hesitation. He stepped onto the arena with his head held high and attempted to crush his opponent with brute force as he'd always done. However, his opponent this time was much tougher, and Minotaur had soon exhausted himself, losing his advantage.
In the end, the mysterious figure defeated the "invincible" Minotaur with measured counterattacks.
The crowd cheered for the strong and graceful victor, yet Minotaur was overwhelmed by rage and shame.
And when the mysterious figure stretched out his hand to help Minotaur get back to his feet, Minotaur grabbed the unsuspecting hand and pinned the grabbed the unsuspecting hand and pinned the mysterious figure to the ground, before throwing a series of vicious punches at him.
As his fists were covered in blood and the mysterious figure stopped struggling, Minotaur tore off the latter's mask amidst the boos of the crowd-and that was when his whole body stiffened. The severely injured figure on the ground was actually his father!
The old king grasped Minotaur's hand with his last strength and uttered his final words of instruction to his son, "You must learn to shoulder the responsibility as a king and continue the glory of Minoa..."
Consumed by shame and regret, Minotaur headed to the Minoan Labyrinth-the burial ground of the Minoan ancestors-and began his training and repentance.
Over time, Minotaur gradually gained control over his rage and became able to tap into his raging powers at will.
As Minotaur thrust himself into this arduous training, an unexpected catastrophe struck. The entire Minoa. was flattened by the explosion of the Twilight Orb, and only Minotaur was left unharmed under the protection of the Labyrinth. Minotaur rushed toward the state amidst the tremors, wanting to find out what had happened, when a broken piece from the Twilight Orb plummeted into the Labyrinth and sealed it whole. Minotaur, who was half a step out of the Labyrinth, was sealed altogether and put into a deep slumber.
The catastrophe erased all traces of the Minoan civilization, leaving only the Minoan Labyrinth half-hidden in the sand. After countless days and nights, the broken piece from the Twilight Orb turned into Lunox and left.
The seal was then lifted. Time in the Labyrinth began to flow again, while Minotaur slowly opened his eyes....
Aldous, the guardian of the Labyrinth, told Minotaur his state had long turned into dust, and he and his memories were all that remained. Minotaur, however, would believe none of those.
